A: No. The 4000/4100 filter is designed specifically for these compact models. It will not fit the 5000, 5100, 7000, 7500, MXL, or other series. Always verify your model number before ordering.
A: Check the label on the back or bottom of your ionizer – it will say "Life 4000" or "Life 4100." Both models use the same replacement filter. The citric acid cleaner is labeled for the 4100 but works with the 4000 as well if your model has a cleaning cycle feature.
